Paul Reyes is a former senior editor with The Oxford American magazine, and is currently a contributing editor with Virginia Quarterly Review. In addition to those publications, his writing has appeared in Harper’s, the New York Times, Slate, The Los Angeles Times Book Review, Details, and Mother Jones. He's a 2009 National Magazine Award finalist for Feature Writing, and a 2010 National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellow. His first book, Exiles in Eden: Life Among the Ruins of Florida’s Great Recession, was published by Henry Holt & Co. in 2010.
